NFL Power Rankings: Week 10

The Saints have dethroned the Rams who have been atop both our rankings pretty much all season.

Are they really the best team in the NFL?

It’s hard to say no, especially since they just added another weapon on offense in Dez Bryant. I know he hasn’t played all season for anyone but as a #2 or #3 option for Drew Brees he should be fire for them in that dome.

The Pats went from four to five for me with an impressive win over the Packers. It wasn’t even Brady or the offense that was impressive in that game (I’d even say they borderline sucked). The New England defense held Aaron Rodgers to 259 yards and held the Packers to just 17 points. It was definitely their best performance of the season.

I think it’s pretty clear that come championship weekend the final four should be New Orleans-Minnesota and Kansas City-New England. Where those games will be played remains to be known but that would be one heck of a Sunday in late January.

The Vikings, Chargers, Bears, Panthers, and even the Steelers could upset one of those teams in the playoffs but we’ll see, there’s still a ton of football to be played.
